2) What can I expect from
counseling?
The first few sessions will be listening
to you
and assessing your goals of counseling. Together, we will then form a
treatment plan based upon your specified needs and outcomes. Treatment
plans are reviewed regularly in order to determine continuation of
counseling, further treatment goals, or termination of counseling.
3) What payment options are
available? Do you take insurance?
Checks and credit cards are accepted. I do
not
file insurance, but often assist clients with completing the paperwork
to file their own insurance claims. Please check with your insurance
carrier to regarding out of network benefits for counseling.
4) How long will I be in
counseling?
The length of counseling is determined
according
to your individual client needs. The average duration is four to ten
sessions. Sessions are scheduled on a weekly, bi-weekly and monthly
basis dependent upon client needs.
5) What happens if our
counseling sessions do not seem to be helping me?
Please feel free to discuss any concerns
you may
have with me. If counseling is not proving to be effective, then I will
happily provide referrals to other counselors. You will never be
penalized for discontinuing counseling services.
6) Do you provide services to
children?
Counseling services are provided for those
13 years old and up.
7) What are your office hours?
I provide both evening and daytime
sessions.
